Kick Back & Relax

Enjoy a 1,300 sq.ft. home in quiet residential neighborhood with panoramic bay views from the living room and decks.  This three bedroom, two bath home was built in the 1960s and features hardwood floors throughout, gas heat, gas fireplace, and fully equipped kitchen open to living area and views.  Like most homes in the San Francisco Bay Area, there is no central air conditioning, as ocean breezes suffice to cool the home on warm summer days.

Bedroom #1:  King size platform bed with hypoallergenic mattress and bedding.  Small, attached bathroom with shower.  Small walk-in closet and one chest of drawers. 

Bedroom #2:  Queen size platform bed with hypoallergenic matress and bedding. Closet and built-in drawers.  This bedroom opens to a small patio with bay view.  Shared bath across hallway with shower and tub.

Bedroom #3:  This bedroom doubles as a TV room with two convertible twin beds, closet, 32in HDTV (local channels), and DVD player.  Shared bath across hallway with shower & tub.

Kitchen:  The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas stove, refrigerator, small microwave, and dishwasher.  There is a counter height bar with three stools for causual conversation during meal preparation.

Living Room & Dining Area:  The spacious living room & dining area features dramatic bay views that include the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge and an active shipping wharf.   It is furnished with hand hewed teak furniture from Bali and has a new gas fireplace and ceiling fans.  Dining table seats six.

Garden & Decks:  The front of the house features a garden area with fruit trees and flowering plants.  The multilevel deck off the living room & dining area includes a hottub, outdoor grill, and seating.

Laundry Area:  There is a shared laundry area in the lower level of the home.  This level includes a caretaker's apartment, which has a private entrance and deck.

Parking:  There is ample parking in front of the home on Clarence street, where guests are treated to a full view of the famous golden gate bridge. 

Other Amenities:  Wireless internet capability for guest who wish to bring a laptop.  Two iPod docking stations with speakers.  There is no telephone service, but AT&T/Cingular cellular service works reasonably well.
